Nedbank – Stainbank Indiana Jones 7 May 2008

Team building at Stainbank Nature Reserve is always a pleasure. Natural Forest and an abundance of small game make Stainbank the perfect destination for groups wishing to get out into nature.

Stainbank was the setting for an Indiana Jones team build held for 4o Nedbank staff. The aim was relaxation coupled with team building. Low impact activities in an exciting and competitive race format were planned with each team required to collect a certain number of artifacts in order to win.

The group was a real pleasure to work with, focused and motivated they were also relaxed and fun loving and healthy competitiveness was coupled with the desire to enjoy the day.

Despite team red arriving at the giant puzzles first, it was team yellow or the Dream Team as they dubbed themselves who emerged victorious after a 2.5 hour race that included target shooting, spear throwing, blindfold croquet, an activities course and art challenge. Team Green Mambas won the Art challenge and Team white were the top scorers in the target shooting department.

After prize giving during which team members were given a chance to comment on some of the amusing things that happened during the day, Beach and Bush put on a braai and drinks were organized for the group who enjoyed a relaxed and chilled afternoon.
