On the 8th of May a group of over 100 staffers from Vodacom took on the Alpine Heath Indiana Jones Team Build in the Northern Drakensberg.

The competition was fierce with 10 teams competing across the course with the ultimate aim of being crowned Indiana Jones champs for 2009. Individual tasks included inflatable bridge building, spear throwing, paintball and blow darts, 2 mini activity courses, art challenge and more. Teams finished up with the giant puzzle challenge. Team spirit and group dynamics were strongly in evidence as teams played hard to win.

In the end it came down to 2 teams in a close run sprint to the finish. The afternoon was rounded off with a classic team building war cry competition. Some of the war cries were trully hilarious with the creative energy flowing strongly.

It was good to see a company staffed by motivated and involved young people from all walks of life and backgrounds. The will to win and motivation levels were strongly evident.
