69 Strand

Enjoy spectacular 180 degree ocean views when you stay in any of 69 Strand's three self-catering units. Situated on Strand Road, on the Bluff in Durban, 69 Strand overlooks the pristine shorefront of Brighton Beach.

Relax and revitalise while you enjoy the extreme comfort of 69 Strand. If you're lucky, you may even spot whales and dolphins from your private deck - especially during the Winter months of May through August.

Upper Unit

The Upper Unit can sleep up to four people comfortably. It has two separate air-conditioned bedrooms, each with a queen sized bed. There is an open plan living area with full satellite DSTV, plus wireless Internet. This leads you out to the patio from where you can enjoy the beautiful sea views and spectacular African sunrise. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery. The bathroom consists of a bath, toilet and a basin. There is safe and convenient parking directly outside the unit.

Lower Unit

The Lower Unit sleeps up to two people, with one queen size bed in the air-conditioned bedroom with full satellite DSTV. There is an open plan living area, plus wireless Internet. This ground floor unit also has beautiful sea views and is a few steps away from the sundeck that is perched right on the edge. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery. The bathroom consists of a bath, toilet and a basin. Safe and convenient parking is directly outside the unit.

Guest Unit

The Guest Unit sleeps two people and is popular with honeymooners. From the living area sliding doors lead you out to your own private sundeck where you can enjoy the beautiful sea views and surroundings. This unit has one air-conditioned bedroom with a queen sized bed, full satellite DSTV, wireless Internet and en-suite bathroom. The bathroom consists of a shower, toilet and a basin. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery.

69 Strand's three units are self-catering. However, if you're in no mood to cook, there are plenty of restaurants, cafes and take-aways in the near vicinity.

69 Strand is located 15 minutes away from the vibrant city centre of Durban, and just 10 minutes away from Durban International Airport.
