Villa Siesta is a small, secure face brick complex of 8 units across the road from the beach. It is situated on the South Coast of Kwazulu Natal, South Africa, in Ballance Lane, directly off Marine Drive in the popular coastal town of Margate.

The complex offers 3-star and 4-star graded self-catering accommodation and is superbly situated with incredible sea views. Simply cross the road and you’re on the beach.

The units that make up Villa Siesta can comfortably accommodate a maximum of 6 to 8 guests each.

Typical unit features include: Open plan lounge, dining-room and extremely well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, tumble-drier, washing machine, microwave etc. TV, DSTV and a DVD player are provided for you. Sliding doors open from the lounge and dining-room and lead onto a large verandah furnished with patio furniture, a built-in braai and a Weber. There is a small garden in front of the unit which overlooks a beautiful beach.

The complex is fully walled and has automatic gates. A security guard is on duty at night. There is a fully fenced swimming pool shared by the units plus an automated lock-up garage and open bay parking for your use.

Linen and bath towels are provided for you but guests are asked to bring their own beach towels. The unit is serviced daily by experienced staff, who will make beds, clean bathrooms, braai areas etc.

Accommodation at Villa Siesta is on a self-catering basis. Each unit is fully equipped for self-catering, indoors and outside.

The holiday resort town of Margate lies on the Hibiscus Coast of South Africa's KwaZulu-Natal. This is the heart of the Hibiscus Coast and the region's beauty is obvious from the moment you take the N2 south of Durban and into a sub-tropical paradise of golden beaches, coastal forests and endless, sunny days.

Popular with holiday-makers the town can also be reached by flying in and landing at Margate Airport, the second largest runway in KwaZulu-Natal. The resort town is located about 160km south of Durban.

In season, Margate is a buzz of activity! Besides the attraction of the beach and the ocean, the beachfront promenade offers restaurants, cinemas, an amusement park, and nightclubs. During the summer holidays there are always beach activities on offer. It is the ideal base to explore the surplus of holiday opportunities offered by this sunny stretch of coastline. The town acts as the economic centre for a strip of coastline almost completely made up of accommodation, holiday homes and tourist-related establishments.

For those who would prefer a little shopping, Margate boasts fine art galleries and craft shops and numerous shopping centres.

The beautiful and immaculate Main Margate Beach (which has Blue Flag status), is a short walk away from Villa Siesta, and to the right of Villa Siesta is a tidal pool and a delightful secluded bay for swimming.

The complex is centrally located with easy access to shops, supermarkets, banks, medical facilities restaurants etc.
