Zongoene Lodge is located at the Limpopo River Mouth in Mozambique. Where the Limpopo bends and winds to meet the sea, there stands a lighthouse. And nestled between the dunes and trees an unspoiled paradise waits for you. Ideal for weddings, honeymoons and productive conferences far away from city bustle.

Zongoene is located 760km from Johannesburg, South Africa and 3 and a half hour's drive north of Maputo along the Mozambique coastline.

The Chalets are tastefully furnished and have en-suite bathrooms and sliding doors leading onto extended balconies. The pool chalets surround a large swimming pool whilst the family chalets are set back in lush indigenous gardens. The whole complex is electrified and all chalets and public areas have overhead fans. All windows and sliding doors also have mosquito netting for the protection of the guests.

The Dunes Camp consists of 5 rustic chalets sleeping 14 in total. The Camp is self-catering and also has a dining area, braai and kitchen, swimming pool and is fully serviced, with a butler to help with food preparation etc.

The Casarao (?Big House?) consists of two en-suite bedrooms, and two bunk beds in open plan lounge / kitchen & dining area and an extended covered balcony. The Casarao is also self-catering and is fully serviced.

Casa Madeira (?Wooden House?) consists of two bedrooms sleeping 4 with a bathroom, kitchen/lounge/dining area and a balcony. The Casa Madeira is also fully serviced.

Accommodation is typically self-catering, with fully equipped kitchens and braai areas. A restaurant and beach bar are also however available should you wish to take a break from cooking.

The Zongoene Conference Centre is fully equipped and catering can be provided for up to 60 guests. This well designed venue with access to spectacular indigenous gardens, provides a venue with a difference, a mere stones throw from the beach. A variety of teambuilding activities can be arranged with unique cultural experiences.
