Each of the 6 Ntengu Lodge en-suites is decorated in individual style. The d?cor, detail and most of the paint techniques have been done by your hosts. Much of the furniture has been manufactured on site.

We have had input from the executive chef of the Southern Sun Hotel group. These skills, combined with our passion allow us to create food artforms for you.

The lodge is perched on the edge of a cliff and affords one views of the Palmiet River Valley. The cliff is called Ntengu and is named after a bird, the Forked Tail Drongo, which can be seen in abundance in the area. Legend has it that Ntengu is a colloquial word for conversation, so named because the bird is very talkative.

Ntengu Lodge guest house has been serving both local and international guests for a little over 9 years. Our business has been on a constant growth path and is always being improved upon as we strive for excellence.

We are within easy reach of Absa Stadium - home of Sharks Rugby - the ICC International Convention Centre and Tourism Indaba Centre, the stunning new Moses Mabhida Football Stadium, Kingsmead Cricket and the new uShaka Marine World.
