Khaya iBhubesi, the Home of the Lion, owned and managed by the Bartmann family, is an exceptionally distinguished Crystal Five Grading Conferencing venue. Situated on the Vaal River, it is a gateway to an oasis of scenic splendour and riverine tranquility. All within one hour's driving distance from Johannesburg, on the outskirts of the small Free State town, Parys, in South Africa.

Fully serviced, the magnificent Mufasa Guesthouse is the pivot point in this picturesque environment. The double volume Shaka Village is a delightful cross between traditional African and modern design. The Chalet clusters, River Lodges as well as riverside Log Cabins all boast with innovative African interiors, awaking the senses through the bold use of colour and texture, ultimately creating a rich mixture of urban flair and country living. Food

The Dumbe restaurant's gracious decor is equally matched by its elegant menu. The chef will cater to your every whim, from laden buffet tables to elegant a-la-carte sitdown dinner parties. Exotic cocktail drinks, amongst other irresistible creations are perfect for enjoyment, whilst absorbing the idyllic sunsets. Under the shade of Gazebos in the Tea Garden, you can have a light meal or drink whilst enjoying the comfort of the sweeping outdoor spaces.

Activities

Khaya iBhubesi offers numerous team building and other activities, all supervised by trained professionals. Try your strike rate with archery. High ropes are the adrenaline junkie's perfect domain. The Chapel converts into a tranquil riverside conferencing venue, known as the Libandla Hall. Khaya iBhubesi has its own, on-site, internet cafe and all the conferencing venues are issued with standard audio-visual equipment. A stroll down to the meandering riverside leads you to the Lapa, a luxurious meeting place, where a smouldering bonfire beckons you to relax and absorb the African spirit.
