The Trossachs Guest Lodge is situated atop a hill between McGregor and Robertson, just off the R62 in the Breede River Valley, the world's longest wine route, and part of South Africa's popular Cape Garden Route.

We have various options of accommodation at The Trossachs Guest Lodge.

Our Executive Cottages: Our four executive cottages are free standing structures, all with different spectacular views from their respective private porches.

All of these cottages have fireplaces, a lounge area and en-suite bathrooms with baths and twin showers. There are bar fridges and hairdryers in all of the cottages. All of the cottages have sleeper couches except for one, so it could accommodate up to four people.

Our Luxury Rooms: Our five luxury rooms are located in one building. All of these rooms have fireplaces and en-suite bathrooms with baths, except for one which has a shower. There are bar fridges and hairdryers in all of the rooms.

Balauchen Lodge: Balauchen Lodge is a separate unit about 50m from the rest of the lodge. It has a main bedroom, a loft room, lounge, and bathroom with a shower.

At the Manor Restaurant it is our pleasure to share the spectacular views of the Breede River Wine Valley with you. If you came in a hurry, best you forget your hurry in a hurry. Sit back and enjoy of the finest wines and food our valley has to offer.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are served at the Manor Restaurant.

All our food is freshly prepared from the finest ingredients, and we support the following pillars of the slow food movement:

• The non standarisation of taste (no MSG nor artificial flavourings).
• All food is freshly prepared and meat is not frozen.
• The Carbon Foot Print: To use only local produce as far as possible to save on resulting pollution due to transportation, all striving to save our planet.

The Trossachs Guest Lodge is ideal for relaxation, country walks and hikes. The many other attractions of the McGregor - Breede River Valley area are a short drive away. Wine tours and tasting are especially popular activities in the district.

Conference facilities at The Trossachs Guest Lodge cater for both small and large groups. The Lodge offers a champion size snooker table to test your skills, while the Rob Roy pool bar and lounge is a great place to read, relax or have a cocktail.
