Each secluded and spacious room at Thorntree River Lodge overlooks the Zambezi River. Enjoy the African bush and Zambezi River from your own covered verandah. All rooms offer bathroom en-suite facilities and are designed with comfort and space in mind.
The main lodge area is perfectly positioned to offer guests spectacular views of the Zambezi River. Bush comfort is the order of the day as you sit back, relax and order ice cold drinks from our well stocked bar.
Food
Your stay at Thorntree River Lodge includes 3 meals daily. Meals are served in the main lodge area and guests are encouraged to interact socially around the communal dining room table.
For those wishing for a quiet private dinner, dining al fresco Africa style can be arranged. If the weather allows, ours guests are encouraged to enjoy the great outdoors as you dine under the stars.
Activities
Thorntree River Lodge is home of the elephants. Discover the beauty of the Zambezi River atop an African Elephant. Safaris are conducted early morning or late afternoon. The possibility of spotting game is enhanced from your elevated position on this magnificent creature. After your ride you will be encouraged to interact and become one with your elephant. An experience not to be missed.
