Derived from the native Zulu language of South Africa the name Thula Manzi, meaning "Quiet Water" describes the overall atmosphere of our guest lodge, which offers bed & breakfast and self-catering accommodation.

Thula Manzi Guest Lodge has successfully merged with the existing ecosystem, resulting in a truly relaxed atmosphere for our guests. This is enhanced by the sound of trickling water from the fish filled dam, Koi pond and various water features.

Situated in Midrand, there is quick access to all major freeways. We are 30km from both Oliver Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg and Lanseria Airport, making us a perfect central stop for business and leisure tourists in the Gauteng region of South Africa.

We offer eight elegantly furnished luxury bedrooms with en suite bathrooms including DSTV and air-conditioning, etc. A self-catering suite and a wheelchair friendly suite are also available.

Lodge facilities also include a large steam room, gymnasium, bonfire boma and superb entertainment room, complete with pool table. Great for any private or company functions!

Thula Manzi offers an intimate breakfast restaurant overlooking the inviting rock swimming pool and koi pond. Breakfasts are freshly prepared by our professional management team. Fully equipped self-catering accommodation is also available.

The Lodge's gardens are a bird watcher's paradise. Over 60 different bird species and other smaller animals bring life to our Lodge in a natural and inspiring way.

Our Conference Room is fully equipped with state of the art equipment including a built in data projector.

It's ideal for smaller conferences with a seating capacity of 28 delegates in U shape and 36 delegates in School Room style.
