The Bushmen of East Africa: The bushmen of Lake Eyasi are the only hunter-gatherers who remain in East Africa. Their ancient lifestyles remain the same as it was 10,000 years ago, as we humans all were those days. Their numbers are dwindling and are estimated to be less than 2000 remaining.

The Nomads: The Datoq Tribe, a pastorialist culture is another tribe worthwhile to visit. Our guides are from this tribe and they are more than happy to show you around in their village and to talk about their culture.

Bird Watching: The wetlands of Lake Eyasi are famous for the vast amount of bird species; it's a birdwatchers' paradise. Have a guided walk through the area with one of our specialized bird watching guides.

Walking Safaris: A walk to the lake is also a very nice thing to do, have a sundowner and think back of the old days of early mankind.
