Elephant Rock is situated in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa on the Nambiti Private Game Reserve, 2 and a half hours from Durban and 3 and a half hours from JHB. Nambiti is a Big Five game reserve comprising 10000 Ha of malaria free bushveld.

Nambiti has an incredible biodiversity including savannah, grasslands, thornveld and tall acacia trees. The Sundays River flows through the reserve and has two 40 metre waterfalls with magnificent ravine bush, home to several rare bird species.

Elephant Rock Private Safari Lodge boasts five luxurious two-sleeper chalets, including one family unit. All chalets are well spaced for total privacy, and include a bathroom, veranda, outdoor shower and are all have great views of the watering hole.

Accommodation at Elephant Rock Private Safari Lodge is on a full board basis, covering 3 meals a day, all hot beverages and snacks. Comfortable dining and drinking options include:

Activities on offer include two daily game drives of approximately 3 hours each (weather permitting), fishing in the reserve’s well stocked dams, battlefield tours by arrangement (1 hour drive away), picnics/dinners at a waterfall, river swimming and - by arrangement - bush dinners and breakfasts.
