Le Mirage Desert Lodge & Spa is located only 21 km from Sesriem, the entrance gate to the Namib Naukluft Park and world famous Sossusvlei sand dunes in Namibia. The lodge is a harmonious blend of luxury and nature with each room offering a spectacular view of the Namib Desert. The Lodge offers guests a luxury home after a day in the desert, and accommodation is available on a full board, or dinner, bed & breakfast basis.

Guests are accommodated in 25 luxury rooms with en-suite facilities, air-conditioning, safe, mini bar and coffee & tea facilities. The lodge also has a spacious restaurant sheltering guests against the harsh desert climate, a pool bar and lounge.

SOSSUSVLEI's rich orange sea of sand dunes is one of the most astounding sights in the world. They are the highest sand dunes in the world. The feminine curves and angular crests rise tantalizingly to almost 1,000 feet (305 metres) - much higher than their nearest rivals in Arabia. They just beg to be climbed barefoot and the sheer size and immensity of the dunes dwarf your footprints.

The older the dune, the brighter the color from slow iron oxidization and a zillion minute fragments of garnets. These dunes range from burnt orange through blood red to deepest mauve, and geologists say that this supreme desert could be the oldest in the world.

A highlight at Le Mirage Desert Lodge & Spa is our wellness centre which is specialized in massages, pedicures, manicures, aroma massages and de-stress treatments. In the large courtyard guests can retreat at the swimming pool sheltered from the desert in an oasis of palm trees.

The Lodge also offers quad bike tours of the desert, nature drives on our private domain, nature drives to Sossusvlei, scenic flights, horse rides and hot air ballooning.
