Nduna Lodge is situated on the outskirts of the small farming town of Alexandria, known for its abundance of wildlife, pineapple produce, dairy farming and for being one of South Africa's most important producers of chicory.

Surrounded by incredible findings of nature, the Alexandria State Forest (or Langebos, as known by the locals) lies between Alexandria and the sea, considered the only unspoilt forest in Southern Africa. Extensive and dense subtropical coastal forest, compared to the coastal forests on the coastline of KwaZulu Natal, borders the Alexandria Dunefield, considered the largest moving dunefield in the world. Some of these dunes reach similar heights as those of the Namib Desert.

The 25 000 hectare Woody Cape Nature Reserve now protects the Alexandria Dunefields, which is an excellent birding destination, and also forms part of the 145,000 hectare Addo National Park.

No experience needed, as the qualified Ranger taking you out on your safari, will give you a quick course and a test drive, to make sure each guest feels comfortable handling the quad bike.

For those not feeling as adventurous, we will gladly take you out on our customised Game Drive vehicle, which can seat up to 10 people comfortably.

Other activities available at the Lodge include Clay Pigeon shooting as well as table tennis, pool, darts and a tennis court.
