Reed Valley Inn is nestled in a farmyard and is comprised of four historic en-suite country rooms, which once provided rest and safety for the travellers on the mail wagon. Each room has a separate entrance on to a private patio. Children from 12 years are welcome.

Reed Valley has been in the Weeks family for over one hundred years. It was purchased in 1898 by Jabez Weeks, son of an 1820 Settler. The previous owners were of Dutch descent. The main house is estimated to have been built in 1806.

The land was used to ranch sheep and cattle up to the turn of the century. The challenge has been to re-establish the original flora and fauna species to the area and to return the land to nature.

The reserve hosts five of the worlds six vegetation biomes, bushveld to savannah. For a change of pace relax on board the boat cruise while meandering lazily along the Bushman's River.
