Savanna Private Game Reserve is located approximately five and a half hours (approximately 480km) from Johannesburg.

The Executive and Luxury tented suites combine the romance of a tented roof, with the sophistication of a permanent structure that ensures luxury and privacy. The Savanna Suite is a traditional thatch roofed building designed to offer high levels of elegance and comfort.

Luxury Suites: The four Luxury Suites are slightly smaller than the Executive Suites but are intimate and romantic. Panoramic views of the bush can be enjoyed from the private verandah.

Savanna Suite: The Savanna Suite is the epitome of luxury and comfort. Designed under thatch, it can accommodate up to four guests in two beautifully appointed bedrooms.

• The three rooms are linked by corridors which makes the Savanna Suite ideal for families
• The Suite can also be booked as two separate Suites, without private Land Rover, lounge and private dining

Guests may enjoy game viewing in comfort from the main lodge's communal upstairs Library, or they may browse through our well stocked Curio shop.

The lounge and dining room is an impressive building under thatch, which is perfectly positioned with a view of the beautiful swimming pool and a few metres further, the waterhole.

You can even indulge in a relaxing and rejuvenating treatment in the privacy of your suite. All treatments are done by our qualified therapist and Masseuse.

Accommodation in Savanna Private Game Reserve includes all meals and beverages daily. Along with an elegant dining room area there's also an open air boma, also overlooking the floodlit waterhole, where guests may enjoy a traditional African meal under the stars....

The boma at Savanna has recently been upgraded and now encompasses a thatched bar and cooking area and state of the art cooking facilities. New specially designed tables and chairs add to the ambiance of a starlit evening around the camp fire.

Savanna traverses over ten thousand hectares of pristine African bushveld where frequent sightings of Africa's big game occur during early morning, late afternoon or evening game drives.

Lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino, cheetah, hippo and crocodile plus a multitude of general game and over 450 bird species may be viewed from the comfort and safety of the open game drive vehicle.

Game drives are conducted by professional and extremely well qualified game rangers and trackers, who are experienced and knowledgeable on all aspects of the bush. The Sabi Sand Area is renowned for having the best leopard viewing in the world and is known worldwide as " The Land of the Leopard".

Optional walking safaris are conducted daily, in order to experience the beauty and fascination of Africa's flora and fauna.

Bush dinners and bush breakfasts are on request, weather permitting.

Daily trips from the Lodge to the local Shangaan Village and a tour of the scenic Panarama route is offered.

CHILDREN: We regret that we do not accommodate children under the age of 8 years, unless the whole camp is booked. Children 11 years and younger sharing with an adult pay 50% of the full rate. Children of any age may be accommodated in the Savanna Suite if it is sold as one unit.
