Summary

Only half an hour's drive outside Pretoria, in Gauteng, South Africa, is a haven; a weekend retreat that gives you time away from it all in a peaceful country atmosphere.

Aptly named after the zebra we have in the reserve, Zebra Country Lodge is a 400 hectare game reserve. It is also home to giraffe, wildebeest and antelope, which you can view on guided open-vehicle game drives , birding safaris and bush walks.

Zebra Country Lodge offers 4-star graded, bed and breakfast, and dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation in 4 different, child friendly lodges.

Zebra Country Lodge's various accommodation options include:

Bush Lodge: Stylish thatched accommodation surrounded by lush indigenous vegetation. 17 air-conditioned rooms, with Telephone, Air-Conditioning, Hair-Drier, Safe, Tea/Coffee Station, Guest Amenities, Mini Bars, Magazines.

Leopard's View: High on a mountain, this lodge offers rustic accommodation in natural surroundings. View South Africa?s unsurpassed sunsets from the large deck overlooking the nature reserve. 15 en-suite bedrooms with ceiling fans and Telephone, Hair-Drier, Safe, Tea/Coffee Station, Guest Amenities, Magazines.

Leopard's View also features Star Gazing in Astro-Boma, an outside Jacuzzi and Viewing Deck.

Mountain Lodge: Interspersed with gurgling streams and rock features these luxury executive suites are set in beautiful gardens and offer wonderful views of the hills in the distance. 25 air-conditioned rooms including 1 family room. Room facilities include: Telephone, Air-Conditioning, Hair-Drier, Safe, Tea/Coffee Station, Guest Amenities, Mini Bars, Magazines.

Mountain Lodge also includes a giant chess board, pool table and darts board.

Zebra Stables: Set near the lake this lodge is perfect for nature lovers who can take advantage of rowing or fishing. 20 air-conditioned bedrooms with Telephone, Air-Conditioning, Hair-Drier, Safe, Tea/Coffee Station, Guest Amenities, Mini Bars, Magazines.

Zebra Stables also includes a lake for fishing, canoeing or rowing, as well as volleyball, pool table and dart board.

Food

Accommodation at the Lodge is on a bed & breakfast, or dinner, bed & breakfast basis. Each lodge offers different eating options:
