The Sani Pass - the only route up from South Africa - is only accessible via 4x4 and offers a bumpy, if not exciting trip to the chalet. Visitors will delight in the unique alpine flora around the chalet and appreciate the warmth of the smiling people of the Mountain Kingdom.

Come and join your hosts, Jonathan & Sylvia Aldous, at the top of the Sani Pass. Spend an evening with us; enjoy a wholesome dinner around the fireplace, with our famous gluwhein, and listening to all the stories from our adventure travellers at one of the best kept secret places in Africa.

Executive Rondavel: Five private and cosy garden rondavels with en suite bathroom, double bed and fireplace.

Standard room: Situated inside the main building, three rooms each sleeping four people with communal ablution facilities.

Backpackers: A 2 minute walk from the chalet. You get your own private room - it is not a dormitory. The rooms are divided into 2 rooms sleeping 2 people each, 1 room sleeping 4 people and 2 rooms sleeping 6 people. Blankets, sheet and pillow provided; please bring your own towel.

Small kitchen and shared ablutions; self-catering facilities or you can book meals through the chalet, which must be organised prior to your stay at Sani Top.

Camping: Includes usage of ablutions and small kitchen in the Backpackers. Meals can be organised through the chalet, provided you have arranged this prior to your stay.

Sani Top Chalet offers both self-catering and catered (breakfast and dinner) accommodation at the lodge. Home cooked meals are provided. In both cases, guests are welcome to enjoy Sani Top's hearty homestyle meals, served in the main lodge.

A variety of activities will keep visitors entertained from hiking up Thabana-Ntlenyana (3482m) Southern Africa's highest peak, to pony trekking and fishing. During the winter months snowboarding and skiing are offered, providing it snows.

All rates quoted above are inclusive of Dinner, Bed & Breakfast except for Backpackers and Camping.

Children under the age of 3 years stay free of charge. Children from 3 to 12 years pay 50% of adult sharing rate.
