The Tree House: Set in a beautiful forest, with views that begin with the Silvermist gardens and pool and continue all the way into the valley, The Treehouse is a charmingly rustic venue for smaller gatherings of up to 40 guests. The cosy interior, with its natural wood beams and rafters, is warmed by a traditional clay fireplace in winter, while large double doors allow free flow onto the wrap-around balcony with its fairytale lights on balmy summer evenings. Our resident chef is on hand to cater for your every culinary need, from elaborate buffets to uniquely scrumptious a la carte dishes.

Activities

Whatever your idea of the perfect getaway, Silvermist has the facilities and atmosphere to make it happen. Go for a stroll along one of the many easy mountain walks, or set off on a more strenuous hike up the mountain to get your blood racing. Or, if your idea of relaxation involves slightly less perspiration, while away a lazy afternoon reading beside the sparkling pool, breathing in the fresh Silvermist air. And when it's time to give in to the urge to explore the many wonders Cape Town has to offer, Silvermist offers quick and easy access to the very best in sight-seeing, shopping, entertainment and adventure experiences.

Freewheel into Hout Bay with its quaint working harbour, beautiful bird sanctuary and colonies of seals awaiting your visit; or travel 4 kilometres in the opposite direction and spend the day taking in the sights, scents and sounds of the exquisite Kirstenbosch Gardens. Of course, if a little retail therapy is in order, a 20 minute drive will take you to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront - South Africa's number one tourist attraction.
