Accommodation
Guests at Stillness Manor & Spa are accommodated either in the main Manor House with its spacious suites including an elegant presidential suite or in one of several cottage suites tucked away in the Manor's 4 acres of gardens.
The suites are furnished in rich fabrics and muted colours providing a fresh contrast with the opulent and vibrant greenery seen through every window.
Each suite is spacious and has its own alarm, radio, compact disc player, mini bar and tea / coffee making facilities. Relax after a long excursion in our cigar lounge while sampling our local brandies or a selection of the best French cognacs. The dining room seats 20.

Breakfast is served either in the Private Dining Room or on the Terrace with its magnificent views of the Constantia Valley and the Hottentots Holland Mountains.
The Private Dining Room at Stillness Manor has an internal seating capacity of 30 people and is open from 7:15am until 2:30pm.

Stillness Manor & Spa is based in Tokai, one of Cape Town's most secluded suburbs and predominantly an equestrian area. Stillness Spa is set in the midst of beautiful and lush surroundings. Nestled in the shadow of the Steenberg Mountains, the Manor exudes a tone of quiet strength and pristine purity, the essence of Stillness. Our well-equipped facilities are tailored to be as efficient and comfortable as possible and thus create a setting conducive to your wellbeing. Our philosophy is based on moderation, basic nutrition, sensible exercise, abundant relaxation and health. Prospect Forest: A beautiful forest which is situated a stone's throw away from Stillness Manor. Horse lovers can arrange with local stables to take rides through this ancient forest.
Silvermine Forest: This forest was once thought of as an untapped resource for silver, hence the name Silvermine.
Wine Estates: Klein Constantia, Groot Constantia, Buitenverwachting and Uitsig are only 5 minutes from Stillness Manor and represent the cradle of the wine industry in South Africa.
Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens: Kirstenbosch has always been renowned for its massive array of indigenous plants. Altogether there are approximately 5000 species of indigenous flora present including South Africa's favourite plants such as Proteas, Ericas and Pelagoniums.
Half a dozen beautiful beaches: Our beaches are amongst the prettiest and cleanest in the world. South Africa was the first country outside of Europe to gain blue flag status with regard to its Coastal Management policies.
V & A Waterfront (20 minutes): With the majestic Table Mountain as a backdrop, this is one of Cape Town's most vibrant attractions with its busy harbour, its craft market and shopping centre.
Numerous hiking trails on Table Mountain: Beautiful 360 degree panoramic views of our gorgeous town await all who venture onto any of our mountain ranges. The thriving ecosystem will amaze all who hail from urban and industrial areas with its untainted and vibrant colours.
City Centre (15 minutes): Steeped in history and abounding with beautiful historic houses and museums, Cape Town's Centre is certainly worth a visit.
Cape Point (30 minutes): Rugged coastline, pristine white sandy beaches and hidden caves.
Winelands (45 minutes): For some of the best wines in the world and great cuisine, visit the beautiful valley of Franschoek and Stellenbosch.
Robben Island (3 hours): Boats leave from the Waterfront for the former prison of Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned. Now a living museum and conservation area 4 km off the coast of Cape Town, this island also boasts the largest African Penguin colony in the world.
