TIGGER 2 Charters has been operating for over 14 years now in Cape Town, South Africa, and offers an upmarket concept of cruising along the shores of the Cape Peninsula in luxurious comfort and style on both of our state of the art vessels. We operate the TIGGER 2 and the TIGGER 2 'ROYALE' which is the deluxe version of the TIGGER 2 and the latest addition to the fleet which will be catering for the most exclusive function requests and VIP’s.

What better way to see the awe-inspiring Cape coastline than from the sea in the pure style and luxury of these state-of-the-art 53ft & 55ft catamaran cruisers. Ideal for standard pleasure cruises, special occasions and teambuilding events.

DEPARTURES: All departures are from the T-jetty in front of the Hildebrand Restaurant at the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town.

CAPACITY: We carry 45 guests maximum and can comfortably seat 35 guests at one sitting.

STANDARD CRUISES

Cape Town Boat Charter: Cruise towards the horizon during our 1½ hour Champagne Sunset Cruise either to Clifton 4th Beach or into Table Bay as we watch the sunset. Guests will experience exquisite Cape sunsets with Table Mountain and the 12 Apostles as a backdrop whilst sipping on a Method Cape Classique sparkling wine and nibbling on little platters of pate & seed loaf and dry snacks. Definitely for the more romantic at heart.

Luncheon Cruises: Enjoy a scenic bay cruise departing from the T-jetty in front of the Hildebrand restaurant at the V&A Waterfront and enjoy stunning views of Table Mountain, Lions Head and Signal Hill as we cruise along the coastline. We then either drop anchor in front of Clifton 4th beach or Granger Bay OR if the weather and ocean conditions aren’t suitable, we will return to the mooring at the V & A Marina to relax and enjoy the luncheon menu of your choice. We offer a choice of duration and a variety of menu options to suit all tastes.

Private Romantic Sunset & Dinner Cruise (A Private Charter for one couple only): We set off on a romantic Cruise serving a pate & seed loaf platter, dry snacks and sparkling wine at sunset before returning to the mooring to serve an extensive 4 course menu at a candlelit table covered in rose petals. Perfect for proposals, anniversaries or special intimate occasions as this is the créme de la créme of Romantic Cruises just for the 2 of you. This charter can be requested as a luncheon charter instead of a sunset cruise if preferred.

Dinner Cruises: Enjoy a scenic bay cruise departing from the T-jetty in front of the Hildebrand restaurant at the V&A Waterfront and once again enjoy stunning views of Table Mountain, Lions Head and Signal Hill as we cruise along the coastline or out into Table Bay to admire the spectacular Cape sunset whilst guests nibble on platters of pate & seed loaf, dry snacks and a superb Method Cap Classique sparkling wine before we return to the mooring half an hour after the sun has set to enjoy one of our selection of available menus. We offer a choice of duration and a variety of menus ranging from a basic braai menu to a more extensive 4 course dinner.

With regards to our onboard bar facility, it is possible to supply your own Wine & Sparkling Wine ONLY as long as the bottles are pre-chilled and in your own coolers with ice. In this instance, a flat rate of R250-00 per charter is charged for the use of our glassware and the service of our barman.

Charter trips are very laid back, and any age group can enjoy the adventure.

A minimum of 6 guests is required to guarantee a departure on any non-private charters and any charter with a minimum of 30 guests is automatically guaranteed a private charter

Children under the age of 12 yrs are half price if accompanied by an adult. This is not applicable in peak season (December and January)
