Magic Moments Deep Sea Fishing Charter

Magic Moment Ocean Experience has a qualified skipper who is also a very competent all round sport angler since 1982, fishing off the KwaZulu Natal coast of Zululand, from the Tugela mouth as far as Cape Vidal in the north. He has been skipping a boat off Richards Bay since 1987 and is very familiar with this area - ensuring your deep sea fishing experience will be one to remember.

We currently offer deep-sea charter fishing excursions off Richards Bay, both bottom and bill/game fishing trips. In winter, when our large Dagga Salmon arrive, we do overnight trips out to sea in pursuit of these lovely fish .

A normal bottom fishing day starts 06h00 until 16h00, and a trip must consist of 6 anglers.

We do not boat bill fish, and adhere to all fishing regulations and laws. We support conservation by sticking to daily bag limits and minimum sizes.

• registered for 40 nautical miles off shore
• powered by 2x 2.5 litre Iveco Diesel inboard motors
• equipped with a fighting chair as well as all the fishing equipment, including rods, you will need for the different types of fishing

Anglers to supply all their own drinks and snacks. Don't forget sunblock, a hat, warm jacket and sea sickness tablets if you're prone to motion sickness.

No fishing experience is required to have a great time out on the ocean.
