JNC Helicopters is a well-established helicopter charter, flight training school and general aviation service provider.

JNC Helicopters is based at Virginia Airport, Durban on the east coast of South Africa. Durban's subtropical climate provides excellent flying weather conditions throughout the year. Our base is within walking distance to the beach, golf course, health spa and bed and breakfast accommodation.

The JNC team consists of highly experienced pilots who are ready to take you under their wing; from a journey through the Drakensberg Mountains to a quick sightseeing tour of our lovely city, or to teach you to fly a helicopter.

At JNC Helicopters we give your dreams wings. We will collect you from the international airport, arrange your accommodation, car hire, and ensure that you are looked after whilst you are learning to fly with us. Our professional and highly trained instructors will equip you with all the necessary skills to fly.

Along with helicopter training, JNC Helicopters offers aerial charters for corporate and sightseeing purposes. Destinations include important towns and tourist areas throughout the KZN province - up and down the coast, and inland all the way to the picturesque, impressive Drakensberg mountain range.

Our helicopter fleet is as follows:

Robinson 22: Ideal for Photography, Pilot Helicopter Training, Game Capture and Crop Spraying. The R22 is a Pilot + 1 passenger helicopter.

Used mainly for: Excursions along the coastline, Training,

Robinson 44: The R44 is a 4 seater helicopter, pilot + 3 passengers. With the economical charter rate the R44 is a popular family charter helicopter.

Used mainly for: Excursions along the coastline, Wild Coast Sun flight, Lunch excursions to the Lynton Hall, Salt Rock or into the Midlands.

Bell Jetranger B206: A very versatile helicopter which is extensively used for charter, VIP transport, Underslinging, Game Censoring and a very stable filming / photography platform. The Jetranger is a Pilot + 4 passenger helicopter.

Used mainly for: Excursions along the coastline, Game Park visits, Wild Coast Sun flight, Lunch excursions to the Lynton Hall, Salt Rock or into the Midlands.

Eurocopter EC120: A state of the art helicopter which seats 4 passengers, pilot + 4. Ideal for VIP transport.

Used mainly for: Excursions along the coastline, Wild Coast Sun flight, Lunch excursions to the Lynton Hall, Salt Rock or into the Midlands.

Bell Longranger: By far the most popular larger Charter Helicopter, the Longranger is a pilot + 6 passenger helicopter.

Used mainly for: Excursions along the coastline, Game Park visits, Wild Coast Sun flight, Lunch excursions to the Lynton Hall, Salt Rock or into the Midlands.

Eurocopter EC130: Ideal for Charter, the EC130 B4 is a Pilot + 6 passenger helicopter.

Used mainly for: Excursions along the coastline, Wild Coast Sun flight, Lunch excursions to the Lynton Hall, Salt Rock or into the Midlands.

Eurocopter AS350B2 Squirrel: A very versatile helicopter which is extensively used for charter, VIP transport and underslinging. The squirrel is a Pilot + 5 passenger helicopter.

Used mainly for: Large Contract Work, Underslinging.

As safety is paramount in our company we have implemented a rigorous safety program subject to both internal and external inspection audits. This further serves to ensure the safety of both aircraft and personnel.

All are welcome. For shorter coastal flips a minimum of 3 passengers is required.
