Manfred, Sue and Deidre invite you to join us at Klein Paradys Equestrian Centre on one of our scenic trail rides in the beautiful Overberg region of the Western Cape, South Africa.

We offer a wide variety of different rides - tailored to suit individual abilities and requirements. We are happy to accommodate any special requests you might have. We have been in business for 17 years, so we really know the Overberg and all it has to offer the adventurous rider. Our horses are all hand-picked for suitability and then well trained, so they are a pleasure to ride - particularly if you are an experienced & knowledgeable rider. If you are tall or heavier - don't worry, we have horses up to 16.2 hands!

Trails:

• 1 hour vineyard trail - suitable for the person who cannot ride, or the unfit.

• 2 hour trail - suitable for people who can trot and canter. Great views!

• Half day trail to the "Houw Hoek Inn" for tea/lunch. Suitable for inexperienced or experienced riders - we adjust the pace according to the ability of the group.

• Winetasting Trail - suitable for any level of rider, you decide how long & how many wineries to visit.

• Beach rides on Kleinmond Beach. Track down the wild horses! Only people who can ride. Choose between 2 hour ride or full day ride with lunch.

• Full day trail stopping for lunch at "Dassiesfontein". Only fit, regular riders. Lots of trotting and cantering through great scenery, over hills, through rivers and wheat fields.

• Also on offer are riding lessons. Learn how first before taking on a trail and "Riding Days" for children.

Package special offers:

A fantastic getaway for people who love to ride are our 3 and 5 day Riding Packages. Enjoy long, interesting days in the saddle, exploring the scenic Overberg with its flora and fauna. Every day is a completely different trail, incorporating a beach day, a mountain day, exploring the apple orchards & vineyards - all with lunch en route. Winetasting trails are also on offer for those who enjoy top quality wines.

Return, tired and fulfilled at the end of each day to your comfortable 4 star accommodation; to enjoy a delicious dinner and prepare for the next day's exciting adventures.

For those who love horses but are not confident riders, we offer riding lessons as the first part of your Package; so that you will feel confident enough to really enjoy the wonderful trails on offer. As with everything we offer, we are happy to tailor - make your Package to suit your particular requirements !
