A day spent surfing in Durban under the guidance of excellent instructors, guarantees unlimited fun and many new experiences. Not only are there surfing lessons available, but surfboard and bodydoard rental is available as well. So after your lesson with the surf instructor why not get into the surfing action alone by renting a surfboard.

Many beginner surfers enjoy uShaka's waves as they are slow, consistent and therefore easy to ride. uShaka Marine World's beach is also an awesome beach for bathing as the waves are not rough and the water remains shallow for most of the day - creating a lake-like feeling.

All safety precautions have been put into consideration by the surf instructors, who continuously strive to create a risk-free surfing environment, with no accidents to date.
