COUNTRY: South Africa
AREA: South Africa
Summary
Beach and Bush Adventures, one of South Africa's top corporate teambuilding and event organising operators, offers a variety of teambuilding and activity options, including the unique Rafting Construction Challenge Teambuild. Teams have limited time in which to construct rafts from a range of materials; then participate in a team relay course to test their designs.
General
HOW DOES IT ALL WORK:
Teams are given "$1000" upon arrival. This is used to buy materials from the 'rafting shop' (water)....but it gets trickier.... Every item can be bartered for by each team and the team offering the highest bid gets the item. Teams will need to do some speedy planning and decision making to pinpoint items of necessity. This makes for a seriously festive atmosphere.
After the teams have completed the construction of their rafts, a race is held to test the creations and determine a winner. Beach and Bush facilitators are on hand throughout to supervise and assist. A full safety briefing will be held and safety regulations will be strictly adhered to.
Available In
The Construction Challenge can be facilitated on water at a venue anywhere in South Africa of your choice. A venue with a large pool, river or dam is ideal for the challenge.
