Garmin Cocktail Treasure Hunt Team Building

Beach and Bush Adventures is one of South Africa's top corporate teambuilding and event organising operators, and we offer a fantastic Cocktail Treasure Hunt as a low impact team building activity.

The Cocktail Treasure Hunt Teambuild is a great alternate to 'physical' team building. Participants spend time in groups completing low-impact, mentally challenging tasks in a time limit, and end off by creating unique cocktails, to be sampled and judged by the facilitators, and enjoyed by the participants.

Beach and Bush's Cocktail Treasure Hunt Teambuild is a superb way to end a heavy day of conferencing or a great way to supplement a day of physically taxing team building.

HOW IT ALL WORKS: Complete a question sheet. Each correctly answered question allows you a choice from the COCKTAIL SHOP.

Participants are divided into teams for this team building activity and have a time limit in which to find as many answers as possible. Some questions are straight forward, where as others are slightly more cryptic and will require some lateral thinking.

Questions are divided into sections - ALCOHOL / JUICES / DECORATIONS / EXTRAS - and the more questions you get right, the more choices you have for ingredients for your cocktail. The trick is to try and answer a couple of questions from each section to ensure a decent variety of choice. Your team may be stuck if they find themselves with 3 alcohols and some sugar and mint and nothing to use as mixer....or maybe that's your plan? :)

After you've shopped at the Cocktail Shop, teams work together to create and name their own cocktails. Each member gets to make and drink their own cocktail during this activity, but teams decide together which ingredients to "buy".

EXTRAS - Cocktail Shaker / Crushed Ice
Even if participants would like to make a non-alcoholic cocktail, there is enough choice to do so.

Beach and Bush is based in Durban, KwaZulu Natal, but we can stage the Cocktail Treasure Hunt Teambuild across South Africa to suit any organisation's specific needs. Please enquire.

If the event this low impact team building activity takes place at Durban's uShaka Marine World, each participant receives an entrance ticket into uShaka Marine World's Sea World Park. In order to answer the questions, participants will need to visit the Sea World, including the aquarium and surrounding area, and part of the uShaka Marine World's Village Walk (where all of the shops and restaurants are situated). The distance travelled is no more than 1km radius.

VAT @ 14%, snacks and meals, and customised team clothing. Snacks and branded clothing can be arranged by Beach and Bush on request for an additional fee.

This is not a physically demanding teambuild challenge. Anybody can participate and share in the fun.
