Bundu Adventures was established in 1996 as a Whitewater rafting and Canoeing company on the Zambezi River in Zambia. The Zambezi River below the Victoria Falls is widely considered to be the very best rafting river in the world. A deep channeled, high volume river, the Zambezi has class 3 - 5 rapids interspersed with tranquil pools. This enables you to marvel at the magnificent beauty of the Batoka Gorge between some of the most exciting and challenging rapids rafted anywhere on the planet.

LOW WATER SEASON

The Low Water Season runs approximately from mid-July until mid-January each year, depending on the rains.

3 hours "Taste the best": You want to more than one activity in one day? This is the rafting trip for you!!! Pick up at 8am from your accommodation and return at around 12h30. You will raft from rapid #1 to rapid #7. These seven first rapids are classified as the best rapids on the planet. A short but action packed trip!

Half day white water rafting: Choice of Half day morning or Half day afternoon.

Half day morning: Pick up 8am by our vehicles directly from your accommodation. Check-in next to the Victoria Falls, rafting from rapid #1 to rapid #10. Lunch and drinks at the top of the gorge above rapid #10. Return to your accommodation at approximately 13h00.

Half day afternoon: Pick up 10h30am by our vehicles directly from your accommodation. Rafting from rapid #10 to rapid #23. Lunch and drinks at the top of the gorge above rapid #23. Return to your accommodation at approximately 17h00.

Full day white water rafting: Pick up 8am by our vehicles directly from your accommodation. Check-in next to the Victoria Falls, rafting from rapid #1 to rapid #23. Snacks on the side of the river at rapid #10. Lunch and drinks at the top of the gorge above rapid #23. Return to your accommodation at approximately 17h00.

HIGH WATER SEASON

The High Water Season runs approximately from the middle of January until the middle of July. Also, depending on the raising of the water level each year, rafting can be closed between April and June. Please do not hesitate to contact us for an update on the rafting schedule.

Only full day white water rafting is run during the high water season.

Pick up 8am by our vehicles directly from your accommodation. Check-in next to the Victoria Falls, rafting from rapid #10 to rapid #23. Lunch at the top of the gorge above rapid #23. Return to your accommodation at approximately 16h00.

• All your valuables will be locked in a safe box for the duration of the rafting trip.

Videos and digital photos will be taken on each rafting trip so remember to bring a little cash for possible purchases afterwards. Also remember to wear non-slip shoes, sandals or running shoes, quick drying shorts, sun block and a t-shirt.

A good to high level of fitness is recommended.
