Beach weekend at burns bay guest house
For a lovely beach holiday, in style, within close proximity to Durban, i can strongly recommend visiting the Burns' Bay Guesthouse.
We went up to Sheffield for New Year as we did not want to go too far away from Durban with our little baby.
We stayed at The Burns' Bay Guesthouse for the nights of the 31st December and the 1st January.
We arrived at a secure beach mansion with maginificent sea views and walked up the stairs, past a beautifully-kept swimming pool and through the lounge with bar area and plasma TV to our air conditioned bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
The beach is literally a 300m walk from the house, and we spent the whole of the first day in the beautiful rockpools on Sheffield Beach. It was lovely for the children there. For New Year's Eve, we relaxed in the pool drinking champagne overlooking the sea.
For New Years Day, we made the most of the well-equipped immaculate kitchen and enjoyed a large lamb roast and spent themost of the day in the swimming pool with the children and enjoyed relaxing on the patio.
The two dogs there, Shanti and Pepper, are extremely friendly and the children loved having them around.
We really had an awesome weekend and would like to thank the Beach and Bush staff for arranging this for us and Keith and Jeannie Burns for lettin us experience the beach bliss of their holiday home.
